Over the past four years we have had hundreds of requests to provide foot orthotics in the community. While we were aware of the need, we were hesitant to jump into this business, as we were not satisfied with the assessment devices or the procedures available for fabrication. We look at the body in terms of its function, as a chain reaction from the ground up. None of the equipment available assessed the client in a full weight-bearing position. We finally found a company with a new assessment tool that allowed us to scan our clients in a full weight-bearing position. We began Olympic Foot Orthotics in March 2006, offering orthotics that addressed the body from the ground up. Combining our knowledge of how the body works as an entire chain with the latest in full weight-bearing digitizing allows us to provide just the right foot orthotic which will decrease pain and improve performance. We are currently featured by Amfit, the company that manufactures the assessment equipment, in their upcoming advertising campaign.
